adderall bill

the waitress left her adderall in the check

in a little baggie with the ends burnt together
and i put it in my pocket

but i gave it back and 

she was grateful and I was relieved 

it wasn't long after the sprained ankle

sunk into the couch

that i started taking bathes

sometimes the bath is so hot the burn 
travels all the way up from my toes

shocking me the same way every time 
around the bottom of my rib cage

i light all of the candles in the bath except
'kneel to my feet'
